Why We’re Called WebSolArch

Every great building starts with a plan. Every great digital product should too.

Our name is short for Web Solutions Architect, and it describes how we work. Before a single screen is designed, we learn how your business runs and who your customers are, then map the structure: the pages, the features, the data and the systems behind them.

That’s why our work doesn’t stop at the website. From the interface your customers see to the apps, databases, cloud and security underneath, we design and build it as one system, then stay on to protect it and help it grow.

Where is WebSolArch based?

Our studio is in Toronto, Ontario. We work with businesses across the Greater Toronto Area, including Mississauga, Brampton, Vaughan, Markham and Oakville, and remotely with clients across Canada and the United States.

Who will I work with on my project?

You work directly with our founder-led team: co-founders Mohammad Alhawamdeh and Joseph Gonsalves, and UI/UX designer Alex Ferreira. The people you speak with are the people designing and building your website or app.

What kinds of projects do you take on?

Everything from custom websites and redesigns to web and mobile apps, backend systems, cloud hosting, security and SEO. Our recent work includes stone fabricators, a painting contractor, an insulation company, a talent management firm and a platform for a Toronto entertainment company.

Do you use AI in your work?

Yes, as a creative tool. We use AI to explore ideas and speed up parts of the work, while our team designs, builds and checks every part of what we deliver. The thinking and responsibility stay with us.

How is working with a studio different from using a website builder?

A website builder gives you templates to assemble yourself. We design a custom website or app around your business, engineer it for speed, security and search, and host and maintain it for you, so you can focus on running your business.
