Privacy Policy

We only collect what you choose to give us, plus the basic technical data every website receives.

• Contact form: your name, email, phone number (optional), company (optional), the services you’re interested in, your preferred start date and your message.
• Fast Estimate: your answers about your project (type, size, features and timeline), your name, email, phone number (optional) and any notes.
• Booking a call: when you book through our calendar, our scheduling provider collects your name, email and any answers you give, and shares them with us so we can meet.
• Emails and calls: anything you send us directly by email or share on a call.
• Technical data: our hosting provider automatically records standard request data, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to deliver the site securely and prevent abuse.

We use your information to:

• reply to your enquiry and prepare a quote or estimate;
• send you a confirmation that we received your request;
• schedule and hold discovery calls;
• plan, deliver and support your project if you become a client;
• keep the website secure, including blocking spam and automated submissions.

We don’t sell, rent or trade your personal information, and we don’t add you to marketing lists without asking.

Our website doesn’t use advertising or tracking cookies. It stores two small flags in your browser’s session storage, which are cleared when you close the tab: one so the homepage intro only plays once, and one so the Fast Estimate prompt doesn’t keep reappearing. If we add analytics in the future, we’ll update this policy first. The booking calendar, when you open it, is provided by our scheduling provider and may use its own cookies.

We share personal information only with trusted service providers that help us run our business, such as the companies that host our website, deliver our emails, run our booking calendar and host our inbox. They may use it only to provide those services to us.

These providers may store data on servers outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be accessible to authorities under local law. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

We keep enquiries and estimate requests for as long as we need them to respond and follow up, and generally no longer than 24 months after our last contact with you. If you become a client, we keep project records for as long as needed to support your project and meet our legal and accounting obligations.

Our website is served only over encrypted HTTPS connections, access to our inbox and tools is limited to our team, and we use trusted providers with strong security practices. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent and ask us to delete it, subject to any legal requirements to keep certain records. Email contact@websolarch.com and we’ll respond within 30 days.

If you’re not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Our services are for businesses and adults, and we don’t knowingly collect information from children. Our site links to other websites, such as our social profiles and client projects; their privacy practices are their own.

We may update this policy as our services or the law change. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
